Great news from our first day of collective outreach to businesses in the Upper West Side!

 In just 1 hour of outreach, community members got 21 new businesses to pledge to be sweatshop free, tripling what we started with and bringing our current total to 31 businesses (coming soon: an updated list of establishments on our tumblr “wall of fame”). Through our awareness-raising campaign, mobilizing the community, and making first contact with local stores, we are building a movement for a sweatshop-free UWS!
